SAL'S WEDDING

Sal recently married a woman named Rima Fakih and The Weeknd was there with them to celebrate. He sang the song "Shameless" from Beauty Behind the Madness for their first dance. Sal is one of people that help with The Weeknd's success. He was even a groom. The best man was Belly then it was The Weeknd. When its my wedding The Weeknd is going to be my husband so he will be singing and dancing at the same time! WE ARE GOING TO HAVE XO EVERYWHERE! 

THE WEEKND IS DROPPING HINTS

It's Coming!! Chapter 4 is coming our way. The Weeknd is drooping hints everywhere. First he posted a tweet saying saying,"chapter done soon. just let these pages flip." and then in May 18 he posted a tweet again saying,"i'm coming for it...'' HERE'S THE BEST PART. Last year before he dropped Beauty Behind the Madness he posted a tweet saying,"coming for it.111." I HAVE BE READY TO GO TO TARGET OR WALMART TO GET THE ALBUM. I AM GOING TO BUY IT IN ITUNES TOO. XO FAM TO STRONG.

                                 The Weeknd in the Juno Awards 2016

The Weeknd was nominated for 6 Junos but came home with 5! He won Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Album of the Year. He beat Justin Bieber, Drake, and other famous artist. But who cares The Weeknd won! He also performed Acquainted from Beauty Behind the Madness and Might Not with Belly. His performance was on point with fire and all. We are all proud of our favorite singer in the world. Since he was in the Juno Awards, he wasn't in the iHeart Radio Awards. In the iHeart Radio Awards he also won! He won R&B Song of the Year for Earned It. He was nominated in others but he didn't win. Congrats to our Abel!! XO Til We Overdose!! XO too STRONG!!!!

He is finally turning 26 years old. It's the best month of the year!

The Weeknd's real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, he is mostly known as The Weeknd. He was born in Tortano. Canada and raised in Scarborough, Canada. The Weeknd's parents came from Ethiopia. His mother worked several jobs, so he stayed with his grandmother most of the time because his father was never around. While growing up, he listened to variety of music like soul, quiet storm, hip hop, and more.

The Weeknd dropped out of high school at age 17 with a fellow crew member. His stage name was going to be 'The Weekend' with an 'e' but there was another band with that name so he went with The Weeknd.

"Left one weekend and never came home."

He started by uploading songs in YouTube and doing mixtapes. For example, songs like House of Ballons. Later, he released albums named Kissland and Trilogy.
